Abstract

An Act to regulate the transportation of animals by rail. Part 2 of this Act deals with the performance of the transportation. It outlines the contents of the transportation documents and treats issues such as fitness of animals for transport, accompanying persons, choice of travel route, available space, loading and unloading of animals. Part 3 deals with special transport provisions for certain animals and certain kind of animals. Finally Part 4 sets out regulations relating to competent authorities , as well as penal and final provisions.
