Organizations listed in Regulation 4 are prescribed for purposes of section 3(2)(a)(v) of the Act being representative of persons whose profession or occupation relates to livestock farming or the keeping or rearing of animals to which the Act applies or to the use of animal remedies. Organizations listed in Regulation 5 are prescribed, for the purposes of section 3(2)(vi) of the Act, as being concerned with the production of food of animal origin or the promotion or development of the food industry. The Consumers' Association of Ireland is prescribed, for purposes of section 3(2)(a)(vii) of the Act, as being concerned with consumer interests. (6 regulations) Full text English
