Part II concerns the importation of animals. The importation into Vanuatu from any country of origin through any customs channel, including transit of animals other than dogs, cats, bovines, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, rabbits and farmyard birds is hereby prohibited unless specific written permission has been obtained from the principal veterinary officer for such importation. Importation of infected animals and other specified imports are prohibited. Part III specifies prohibited imports of products of animal origin and miscellaneous products.
