Abstract

The present Law establishes an Animal Health Fund for Carinthia. The Fund is designated to: a) provide aid for losses due to animal diseases or other diseases; b) cover costs for prevention, treatment and other measures to combat animal diseases and other diseases; c) provide aid for loss of animals not caused by disease or other illness; d) provide grants to the costs of measures to improve the health and hygienic conditions in the keeping of farm animals (Animal Health Service). The text, consisting of 16 articles, deals with the following aspects: general provisions, contributions, financial aspects, administration and control of the Fund, services to be rendered and final provisions.
