Abstract

These Regulations address failures of domestic legislation to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union (as regulated by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018). The Regulations make amendments to subordinate legislation, which applies to England only, in the fields of the registration of laying hen establishments, animal welfare at transport, the welfare of farmed animals and animal welfare at slaughter
