Abstract

This Act concerns the protection of animal health in Yukon by preventing the entry and spread of diseases. It contains provisions on health certificates (sect. 3), on the importation of animals (sect. 4), on inspectors and inspections. Sections 16 lists the actions that inspectors may take to stop the spread of diseases while sections 17 and 18 deal with quarantine. Sections 28 to 30 deal with reporting of, respectively, contagious diseases, animal deaths and animal escapes. The Act also contain
