Abstract

These Regulations make provision for measures to fight diseases affecting animals. They place restrictions on the importation of live animal, carcase, egg, meat, meal, bone meal, fodder, litter, fresh or untanned hide, manure or other fertilizer of animal origin, provide for quarantine of diseased animals and in some cases, prohibit altogether the unloading of animals from ships. Special measures are prescribed with respect to anthrax.
