Abstract In compliance with the provisions of the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001, this Regulation, consisting of 4 Parts and five Schedules, establishes the requirements for the code of practice mentioned in the schedules according to the different animal practice. Part 1 contains the codes of practice to be observed for securing animal welfare. Part 2 deals with miscellaneous provisions which specifies the requirements to keep particular records for sows. The Regulation is completed by five Schedules, dealing with the following areas: indicates the Code of practice about domestic fowl (I); Code of practice about pigs (II); Code of practice for transport of livestock (III); Documents made as codes of practice (IV); and Fees (V).
