It abolishes the Andhra Pradesh Central Co-operative Agricultural Development Bank (Bank) and all the powers, rights, properties, assets and privileges shall devolve upon the Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Limited (Successor Bank). All contracts including guarantees, deeds, bonds, debentures, agreements, powers of attorney or other instruments in favour of Bank shall stand in favour of the Successor Bank. All legal proceedings pending shall continue against the Successor Bank and all personnel and staff shall continue to hold office under the Successor Bank. The Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 is amended in so far as the words ‘Central Agricultural Development Bank’, wherever they occur in the Act, are substituted by the words ‘The Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Limited’.
