The Act constitutes an Advisory Committee and the government shall after consulting such Committee fix the price at which any particular minor forest produce shall be purchased. The Act requires registration of growers, exporters and manufacturers of finished goods of minor forest produce. The Act provides for entry, search seizure to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Act and penalises any contraventions thereto. The Andhra Pradesh Forest Act, 1967 shall not apply to minor forest produce in respect of the matters for which provisions are contained in this Act. Full text English Website www.indiacode.nic.in
