Abstract

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 24 of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Marine Fishing Regulation, 2003 (No. I of 2003), the Lieutenant Governor (Administrator), Andaman and Nicobar Islands hereby makes the following amendment to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Marine Fishing Rules, 2004 and notifies as follows: (I) Clause (f) of Schedule VI under Section 16 (a) of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Fishing Rules, 2004 shall be substituted as under: "Any species of sea shells not covered under Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 in raw form shall pay the royalty of Rs. 50/-per kg."
