The Corporation may acquire and supply water and may produce and supply energy. In particular, section 8 specifies that the objects of the Corporation shall be the acquiring, supplying, and distributing of water from any source or sources for the use of the inhabitants of the district for all purposes. Whereas section 9 establishes that the Corporation has the object of the generation, storage, transmission, exchange, sale or other disposition of energy that is produced in connection with, or incidental to, the acquiring, supplying, and distributing of water.
