Abstract

This Regulation of the Council of the Amhara Regional Government establishes the Bakusa National Park and provides with respect to its demarcation and boundaries. The main objective of the delimitation of the park is to protect it from harm and conserve the biodiversity resources with participation of the community and in such a way that it will contribute to the local economy in a sustainable manner. The Regional Culture, Tourism and Parks Development Bureau shall administer the park. Activities that shall be prohibited in the park include hunting, collecting of plants, grazing and agriculture.
