These Rules enter into force on 1 February 1991.
Abstract

In exercise of the powers conferred in sub-section (1) of Section 52 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1989), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes specific amendments to the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1991. Amendments deal with the following issues: Application for granting a licence under Section 8-A of the Act shall be in Form 1-A and subject to the conditions specified therein along with the copy of the receipt for payment of fee specified in rule 27 and sent to the Director through the concerned Market Committee; the Director or the authorized officer shall grant a licence under Section 8-A of the Act in Form 4-A and subject to the conditions specified therein; Application for obtaining trader’s licence for operating in the State; etc.
