Abstract

This Amendment to the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for stone crab fishery in the U.S. Fishery Conservation Zone (FCZ) of the Gulf of Mexico under the jurisdiction of the Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council creates a trap reduction program for the EEZ that complements a similar program for the Florida fishery. Trap certificates issued will be reduced when transferred. Certificates can be bought, sold, and transferred.
