In particular, the amending Law invalidates articles 10, 17, 18 and 35 of the Counter Narcotics Law. Cannabis cultivation for drug production is prohibited by the Law. If the violator of the obligations, mentioned in the Counter Narcotics Law, is an employee of the government or a public company, in addition to the determined punishment, he will be dismissed from his job permanently. Drug addiction is a crime, but all addicted persons have the right to join the addiction treatment centres for treatment and rehabilitation.
