This Law enters into force on 5 July 2000.
Abstract

The amendments mainly concern the breeder's rights, i.e. for all agricultural plant varieties its duration is 20 years (25 years for viticulture and trees) (art. 14); necessary procedures in order to grant the breeder's right (art. 18a is added); conditions for revocation of breeder's right (art. 32, 33a is added).
