The Act requires aliens to obtain licences in order to hold land or mortgages on land in the country, and provides for the forfeiture of illegally-held land and shares of companies that do not comply with the provisions of the Act. The Act also restricts the holding of directorships, shares or debentures by aliens in companies incorporated in Saint Christopher and Nevis; provides for registration of company’s licence; and imposes limitations on trusts in favour of aliens.
