Abstract

An Ordinance to implement EU regulations on the production of brandy. Article 1 establishes that, according to EU regulations, only certain substances are to be used for the production of brandy. Thereafter the Ordinance deals specifically with the production of German brandy. Unless the product has been in wooden casks for at least 12 months, the label cannot bear the indication of the age.
