The present Regulation has been proclaimed in force on 28 October 2010.
Abstract

The present Regulation enforces the Alberta Research and Innovation Act (SA 2009, c A-31.7). In particular, the Regulation establishes innovations corporations in the areas of energy and environment. The text – consisting of 13 sections deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: interpretation, establishment of corporation, board of directors, eligibility for appointment, corporate objects, duties and functions of Board Chief Executive Officer, powers of corporations, acquisition of real property, annual report, other reports and information, payments from Endowment Funds.
