Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Air Navigation Act 1920, consist of 30 sections divided into five Parts and completed by one Schedule, regulating the noise standards and testing procedures for certain aircraft. They specify the requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain a noise certification of aircraft. The regulations are divided as follows: Preliminary (Part 1); Noise certification of aircraft (Part 2); Large marginally compliant aircraft (Part 3); Miscellaneous (Part 4); Transitional and savings provisions (Part 5). Schedule specifies Noise standards and testing procedures for certain aircraft.
