Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by inserting the definition of agricultural produce as "includes livestock, poultry, fish and the produce of any plant or animal". Furthermore, this Act amends Sections 3, 5 and 7 regarding the establishment and composition of the Agro-Investment Corporation. Section 8 reflecting the functions of the Corporation is amended, including providing adequate marketing outlets for agricultural produce; selling agricultural produce; providing for the collection, transportation, storage, grading, packaging and processing of agricultural produce; and import and export agricultural produce.
