The Council is entrusted with the task of advising the Government on issues relating to: (a) agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, and viticulture; (b) breeding and rearing of livestock; (c) keeping of bees; (d) processing of agricultural products; and (e) formulation and implementation of sustainable agricultural policies.
