Abstract

This Order delegates to the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food, the powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture and Food under the Acts, Orders and Regulations specified in the Order. The Order confers the powers and duties contained in national Acts specified in Part 1 or Regulations implementing Community legislation specified in Part 2 of that Schedule, as respects the office, or the holder of the office of, inspector or veterinary inspector appointed by a local authority. The legislation concerns food, keeping of livestock, cultivated plants, game, fertilizers and pesticides.
