Abstract

The Federal Republic of Germany undertakes statistics in the following areas: land use, livestock, structural surveys in agricultural and forestry companies, harvesting, poultry, slaughter and slaughter weight, milk, fishing and aquaculture, wine, wood, and fertilizers. The data pertaining to each individual area is specified in the various sub-section. Generally applicable to all sub-sections are survey measurement units, auxiliary features and classifying definitions of an agricultural enterprise. Ministries which are entitled to commence statistics are determined according to individual expertise. Transmission, use and publication of individual statistics are specified and generally allowed under this act.
