Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria Act.

This Act establishes the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria as a body corporate, defines its functions and powers and provides with respect to its administration. The functions of the Council shall include: (a) to advise the Federal Government on national policies and priorities in agricultural research, training and extension activities; (b) to prepare periodic master plans for agricultural research, training and extension and advise the Federal Government on the financial requirement for the implementation of such plans; and (c) to ensure the implementation of the approved master plans by the appropriate research institutes, universities and other bodies. The Act also establishes the National Agricultural Research and Extension Endowment Fund.
