The Council may establish committees under section 12. The Council shall promote, carry out and keep under review agricultural research in Zimbabwe (sect. 17). The animals and things listed in the First Schedule are declared to be agricultural products for the purposes of this Act. The Minister may change this Schedule after having obtained approval of the relevant producers association. Powers of the Council are set out in the Second Schedule.
