Abstract

These Regulations place restrictions on the sale of barley produced in or imported into South Africa. No person shall sell barley unless it complies with the standards for the classes and grades as defined by these Regulations, is sold according to such defined classes, shall be free of substances that render it unfit for human consumption of use for food or feed, and is packaged and labelled as prescribed. The Regulations also prescribe sampling and testing methods.
