It requires vendors of agricultural produce and livestock to be registered with the Registrar designated under this Act. Persons who trade in, supply or otherwise dispose of agricultural produce or livestock shall register in the Register of Vendors of Agricultural Produce and Livestock. The Act also places restrictions on the trade in agricultural produce and livestock of the weight and value as prescribed in the First Schedule to this Act. Traded goods shall be documented and shall be identifiable in accordance with this Act. Full text English
