Abstract In Article 3, this Act underlines that persons who sell agricultural produce or livestock should be registered to the Ministry. An application for registration or renewal of registration for sales of agricultural produce or livestock shall be made to the Ministry with all information required by the Ministry. A certificate of registration shall be issued by the Ministry after registration and person registered under Article 3 are obliged to keep the certificate of registration in his/her possession. This Article shall not apply to farmers with certificate of registration. This Act sets forth provisions on hours of transactions in Article 4, obligations of obtaining certificate of purchase or receipt from the vendor in Article 5, and liabilities of a person in charge of conveying the agricultural produce or livestock of more than one person in Article 6. Furthermore this Act sets forth provisions on criminal proceeding, investigations and hearings, and penalties for agricultural theft. The Minister may make regulations generally for giving effect to this Act; and prescribing anything that is authorized or required to be prescribed by this Act. Full text English
