Abstract

The Minister of Agriculture and marketing has made these Regulations to regulate the supply of maize and maize meal from sources other than those within Lesotho. This shall be done only with a permit to be obtained from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. These permits shall be valid only in the district of issue and the imported maize or maize meal shall be destined only for the district (s) indicated in the permit. All imports shall come into Lesotho though border posts indicated in the permit. Illegally imported goods may be confiscated or seized in shops and other trading places. (6 regulations)
