Its establishes guidelines for agricultural fairs in a specified area, to fund promotional projects designed to develop the area's agriculture (sect. 6). Petitions to incorporate an annual agricultural fair association shall be filed with the Province's Minister of Business ("Minister") and presented to the Lieutenant-Governor in Council (sect. 7), in the form the Regulation provides (sects. 4 and 5). The Minister pre-approves fair prizes (sect. 11), receives associations' annual report (sect. 9) and their by-laws (sect. 10). Funds earned are to be used solely to defray annual dues and the costs of representatives to districts or provincial agricultural promotional organizations (sect. 12).
