Abstract

These Rules implement provisions of the Agricultural Development Bank Act concerning, among other things: management of Bank, functions and powers of the Board, loans to Agricultural Credit Society, enforcement of loan repayment, shares of the Bank, shareholders’ meeting and other organizational aspects. When a loan is made to an Agricultural Credit Society or to an Agricultural Co-operative Society: (a) the loan may be made repayable by instalments in such sums and at such times as the Bank may determine; (b) the society and the Bank shall enter into an agreement for the repayment of the loan and the payment of interest thereon in the form set out in the First Schedule to the Regulations.
