Abstract

This Act is divided into 5 Parts. The act continues the Manitoba Agricultural Credit Corporation who's objective is to assist farmers in obtaining credit and to assist in the development and diversification of farms and other agricultural enterprises in the province. Part 1 deals with Definitions and Interpretation Part 2 outlines the objects, organization and powers mission, of the corporation. Part 3 outlines the Business of the Corporation giving it authority to make loans, guarantees and securities. Part 4 provides for the finances of the board, including, audit of accounts and the fiscal year. Part 5 outlines general provisions, such as an Annual report, other programs, and the power to make regulations.
