It is divided into 6 Parts as follows: Part 1, Definitions; Part 2, Powers and duties of Minister; Part 3, Incorporation of societies and associations; Part 4, Existing agricultural societies; Part 5, Borrowing powers and Part 6 Regulations. The Act allows the Lieutenant-Governor in Council to grant letters and supplementary letters patent of incorporation under the Great Seal; revoke and cancel the incorporation of any society and suspend corporate rights and powers of a society or association.
