Abstract The Regulation establishes the relationship between the AGVET Code and the Pesticides Act 1978. The provisions of the AGVET Code are applicable for the purpose of the Pesticides Act 1978 with regard to the following: (a) registration of pesticides, (b) labelling of pesticides; (c) permits for pesticides; and (d) certain expiry dates as prescribed in article 8 of the Regulations. Likewise, the provisions of the AGVET Code are applicable also with regard to the registration, labels and permits for stock medicines.
