Abstract

The LLG aims to contribute, through targeted measures, to ensuring that agriculture and forestry, within the overall economy, can fulfil their socio-political tasks for the benefit of the general public. The tasks of agriculture and forestry include ensuring food security, maintaining cultural and recreational landscapes, preserving natural resources like soil and water, and contributing to sustaining essential infrastructure and services in rural areas. Agriculture and forestry societal role encompasses food security, landscape preservation, and the maintenance of vital infrastructure in rural communities.
