Abstract The scope of this Agreement shall be mutually advantageous cooperation in the sphere of exploration, extraction, transportation and use of fuel and energy resources with the application of modern space technologies. Cooperation between the Parties shall be carried out in the following fields: (a) provision of outer space sector with energy resources; (b) practical use of the results of research in outer space for development of navigation systems, distant zoning of the Earth, cartography and mapping; (c) prevention of emergencies and mitigation of the consequences thereof; and (d) introduction of energy saving technologies and energy efficiency.
