This Agreement enters into force on the date of its signature.
Abstract

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: (a) validation of rules and regulations governing the rational management, reproduction and conservation of aquatic biological resources; (b) supervising the management of aquatic biological resources; (c) supplying fish products to the internal market and exporting them; (d) establishing common standards for fish processing equipment and fishing gear; (e) licensing fisheries; and (f) preventing the pollution of waterbodies. The State Fisheries Committee shall establish annual quotas for St. Petersburg fishing enterprises and shall license fisheries and fish farming in the St. Petersburg region.
