Abstract The Agricultural Centre of Ebenrain of the Canton Basel-Landschaft carries out, inter alia, on behalf of - the Canton Basel-Stadt and within its territory, the following federal agro-political measures as far as the Cantons are concerned: a) guidelines as to plant productions; b) measures on viticulture; c) authorization of vine and the vine cadastre; d) control of grape harvest; e) denomination of origin. Article 2 establishes that the relevant specialized departments of the above-mentioned Centre are to provide advice to firms as well as to the authorities of the Canton Basel-Stadt in entrepreneurial, technical and agro-political questions.
