Abstract This Administrative Regulation, consisting of 16 articles divided into four Chapters and one Table, establishes the emission limits of air pollutants originated by Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP). It prescribes the limits to be satisfied in order to reduce environmental pollution and safeguard the health of the population. This Administrative Regulation applies to WWTPs located in the Macao Special Administrative Region (RAEM). The entities responsible for the WWTP above mentioned operation must to comply with the provisions of this Administrative Regulation. It is under the responsibility of the Department of Environmental Protection Services (DSPA) to monitor compliance with this Regulation.
