Abstract This Administrative Regulation, consisting of 14 articles divided into four Chapters, approves the Fisheries Development and Support Fund (FDAP), as a legal person governed by public law, operating with the Port Authority (CP). The purpose of the FDAP is to provide financial support for projects and actions aiming at contributing to the development of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) fishing industry. The above mentioned projects and actions include in particular: 1) activities leading to increased fishing productivity; 2) projects and measures to improve the operating conditions of the fishing industry; 3) research and training projects and activities contributing to the development of the fishing industry; 4) any other related activities. FDAP is managed by an Administrative Council, consisting of 3 to 5 members, one of whom shall be the Director of the CP, and a representative of the Finance Department.
