This Administrative Regulation enters into force 90 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Administrative Regulation, consisting of 4 articles divided into one Annex and three Tables, establishes the requirements for nutritional ingredients of infant formulas in order to safeguard their food safety and hygiene. The three tables appended list the following requirements for the nutritional ingredients: Energy value of infant formulas; Content of the nutritional ingredients of infant formulas; Ratio of the nutritional ingredients of infant formulas. This Administrative Regulation shall not apply to infant formulas intended for special medical purposes.
