The present Regulation enters into force on 27 February 2017
Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Mines Act. In particular, the Regulation provides for administrative penalties. Section 2 establishes that before the chief inspector imposes an administrative penalty on a person, the chief inspector must consider whether the matters listed in this section are applicable. The text consists of 10 sections divided into 3 Parts as follows: Procedures for making determinations (1); Administrative penalties (2); Appeals (3).
