Abstract This Order is implementing the policy of the government to conserve the country's forest resources, and to strictly supervise timber harvesting operations in the forest areas, to ensure that all timber supplied to wood-based industries originate from legal sources and to facilitate the development and distribution of more value-added timber products in the domestic and international markets. The Order provides provision for qualified applicants, licensed wood processors/exporters, associations other than licensed wood processors or exports, procedures, fees and charges and penal provision.
