The timeframe of the Action Plan is 5 years between 2013 and 2017. The main objectives of this Action Plan are (i) afforestation to protect catchment areas, (ii) afforestation to support villagers for income generation, (iii) improvement of water quantity and quality, (iv) protection of dams by preventing erosion and sediment transport to prolong their lifespan, (v) establishment of recreational and touristic areas, and (vi) creation of wildlife habitat. This Action Plan will be implemented by projects regarding afforestation, erosion control, seed and seedling production and rehabilitation of brooks. Full text English
