This Act defines the organizational framework, principles of operation, requirements, relations and financial ressources for management of national standardization. The national standards organization is the Hungarian Standards Body (MSZT). It is a public body. Among its organs there are the national standardizing technical committees which are the basic professional units of MSZT, organized on voluntary basis, and fulfils national standardization tasks of each sector of economy.
