Abstract

"The baseline of the Liberian Coast in each case shall be determined by using the low water line along the coast as marked on large scale charts officially recognized by the Republic of Liberia" (sect. 3). The sovereignty of the Republic of Liberia extends to the air space over the territorial sea as well as to its bed and sub-soil (sect. 4). The contiguous zone shall extend to a distance of 12 nautical miles (sect. 5). The Territorial Sea is defined as " the water contained in the zone of belt adjacent to the Republic of Liberia which is under its jurisdiction as regarded as part of its territory" (sect. 1). (5 sections: 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6)
