Abstract A new definition of "credit institution" is given in section 4. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry may appoint other types of credit institutions, for purposes of the Act, than those listed. All other amendments of the principal Act concern the granting of credit: the Ministry may grant interest-free loans (sect. 23); Decisions of the Ministry on credits shall be based on reports of District Rural Activities Offices and local authorities responsible for the administration of rural activities (sect. 31); Disposition Plans may be amended in accordance with section 42. Remaining amended provisions deal with repayment of credit, appeal against decisions of withdrawal or cancellation of credits (sect. 51), modification of terms and conditions of credits (sect. 51(b)), fees for appeal (sect. 51(c)), and request for modification on the basis of previous legislation (sect. 59(d)).
