Act to amend Chapter 20 of the Revenue and Finance Law, Title 36, Volume VI of the Liberian Code of Laws revised, with respect to the assessment and collection of local stumpage, industrialization incentive, forest products, reforestation and other forestry related fees.

Abstract

The fees to be paid according to sections 20.2, 20.3, 20.4, and 20.5 of this Chapter and all other forestry related fees shall be assented and collected by the Forestry Development Authority. All such fees shall be deposited into a reputable bank within the Republic of Liberia, and withdrawals thereof shall only be made upon approval of the President of Liberia. The fees so collected shall be used by the FDA for reforestation and other forestry related projects.
